Some evenings call for another round, a table full of comfort food and absolutely no rush to get home. At Ida Claire in Addison, we believe supper should give you something to look forward to. At Ida Claire Addison, sharing is encouraged—though we understand if you get a little protective of the biscuits. Start with Ida’s Biscuits served with bacon gravy, house jam and honey butter, or pass around Fried Green Tomatoes with gremolata and pistou aioli. Feeling adventurous? Our Duck Nachos bring duck confit, duck fat gravy, goat cheese and a sunny-side-up egg to the party. It’s an unexpected beginning to supper, and that’s just how Ida likes it.

When it’s time for the main event, Southern favorites meet a few well-traveled twists. Ida’s Fried Chicken with pimento mac & cheese delivers the comfort you came for, while Gulf Shrimp & Grits brings bacon, parmesan grits and low country piquant cream into every bite. For something a little different, dig into our Tasso Spiced Pork Chop with roasted carrots, whipped feta, chimichurri and pistachio. Familiar roots, a curious spirit and plenty of reasons to reach across the table for a taste.

And because a good evening deserves a sweet ending, save a little room. Our Hummingbird Cake layers pineapple, banana and pecan with cream cheese icing, while “The” Cookie Jar pairs warm chocolate chip sea salt cookies with ice-cold vanilla milk.
